Apparently Enterprise may be bringing in Shatner to do a couple episodes as Kirk. I'd be very afraid, except that they've also brought on the couple who wrote Federation (the most awesomest Trek book ever written) as story editors.

Hmm...this could be interesting...

Kirk? Wtf? Isn't Enterprise LOTS pre-TOS? They're gonna play with time again, aren't they? -_-

There is no Star Trek continuity, even within single shows. It's kind of painful to watch if I think about it too hard.

And bringing Shatner in is just a bad idea. Shatner = bad.

I was always under the impression that continuity began with TNG and continued quite smoothly all the way through Voyager. I know with TOS they didn't even bother, but with Enterprise I guess they just don't even care.

BLEH!
Interesting as in, "NO DEAR GOD YOU MORONS DON'T SCREW THIS UP WORSE THAN YOU ALREADY HAVE", or interesting as in "Another excuse for Liz NOT to watch this travesty called a Star Trek series"?

*annoyed*

I bet Kirk will Quantum Leap into Scott Bakula's body. How would THAT be for irony?

(And maybe the Doctor from Voyager could be the quirky holographic sidekick that only he can see? It could happen...)
