Hugs and snuggles and luvvins, oh my~ (which would be a definite "yes" in case you haven't figured that out)

Very likely. I'd rank return-trips-on-a-whim rather high on a list of criteria.

If that means you're going to build a town just for the lot of us, sure.

I wish. Although it would be for geeks, hackers, otaku, etc. in general, not for my friends in particular.

Depends. If it was in the US, I probably couldn't.

Definitely not, unless geeks that aren't computer people could come (and you've said they could, so..).

I think it'd be something more like, "It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there." It's nice to have the mundanes around to remind yourself of how much better than everyone else you are.

I'd be reluctant to move away from Vancouver.

Not a chance. I like being around people who, as a group, are familiar with things like cleanliness and communication (and "RTFM *sneer*" doesn't qualify as communication).

I like geeks in general, and as individuals, and even as individuals in groups, but masses of geeks are more than I can take. I think it's the arrogance...annoys me. [/generalizations]
