amused, silly, ha ha only serious

(no subject)

Well, last night was productive--I actually, like, did brentdax.com. So all the pages I wanted are now there. Go read it, you silly bakas.

After that, I talked to Phy a lot. Somehow we got from talking about Liz and Shadow to talking about Lagrange points. Go figure. Oh, and with a little wishing for Star Trek-ish transporters mixed in for flavor. She said that if we had that, she'd probably never sleep alone. Hehheh.

Oh, I finished gym for the semester! Yayness! Now, to finish my assembly homework and do the take-home part of the C++ final...

Except that I'm too bored to do schoolwork, odd as that sounds.

I also finished "wrapping" my presents, although I still have to put labels on a few. Maybe I'll stop by the post office at some point today to pick those up...

Gah, so boooooooooooooooored...

Steve Jobs is an evil genius.

"The dirty little secret of all this is there's no way to make money on these stores," he says. For every 99¢ Apple gets from your credit card, 65¢ goes straight to the music label. Another quarter or so gets eaten up by distribution costs. At most, Jobs is left with a dime per track, so even $500 million in annual sales would add up to a paltry $50 million profit. Why even bother? "Because we're selling iPods," Jobs says, grinning.

Odd song...

Poor Leno
Where you'll be, I'll go
Where you'll be, I'll know
Where you'll be, I'll find you......
(repeat)

Poor Leno
Where you'll be, I'll go
Where you'll be, I'll know
Where you'll be, I'll find you.....
(repeat)

Poor Leno
Where you'll be, I'll go
Where you'll be, I'll know
Where you'll be, I'll find you

Poor Leno
Have you due in time
Reunite as one
Please, I almost find you

Poor Leno
Where you'll be, I'll go
Where you'll be, I'll know
Where you'll be, I'll find you

Poor Leno
Have you due in time
Reunite as one
Please, I almost find you
Even stranger, the song doesn't sound like that, but online lyrics are pretty consistent. The second type of verse sounds more like:
Poor Leno
Having to be told
Reunite as old
Means I'll always find you
But that doesn't make sense. *shrugs*
