On first listen...

I've yet to uncheck an Evanescence song, and I may be able to maintain that record. Hell, I think track eight might have given me a plot bunny.

(And track thirteen is beautiful—a piano-and-violin piece with no guitars at all, which totally suits it. I'm glad they suppressed the urge to add in random guitars like the video version of My Immortal. That bugged me in a couple of other songs.)

But I shouldn't be commenting on individual songs at all right now, because I'm dead tired. To bed.

Like a racecar in the hands of an old lady

This whole sponsored community thing has people paranoid about their journals. In particular, Mac users have been whining about the fact that programs like LJArchive don't work on Macs.

Of course, they don't realize that they're using a fscking Unix box, which could do what they want with a five-line shell script. Or, as I point out, a two-line wget command.

I have that command, with an additional option directing it at my cookies.txt file, running in the background on my machine right now.

OS X is wasted on Mac users.

No, this isn't the crypto module—this is something else I needed while working on Knightley.
