Navi is down tonight. She froze up today and then had trouble rebooting; a quick SMART check showed that her main hard drive was expected to fail in "less than 24 hours", which is never good. I made a hasty backup of that drive and then turned her off. I'll replace the drive tomorrow morning; I have enough money to cover it myself this time.

Anyway, tonight was my belated birthday dinner, which we had at Benihana. My haul:

  • An iPod speaker set/alarm clock from my parents, which I will be using tomorrow morning.
  • Some clothes and things,
  • A $15 iTunes Music Store gift card (which I can use with SharpMusique),
  • A hollowed out book with $200 (!) in $2 bills inside,
  • And a bag of cookies (half sprinkles, half chocolate chips) from my grandparents. This is extravagent even for them.

I should go to bed so I can get up and be at Microcenter when they open. Goodnight.

Oooh, Benihana. *.* I've heard of that resturant, but never actually been to one; we don't have them around here.

*hugs tight* Sorry to hear about Navi-rin feeling unwell, but on a random/coincidental note: I had a nice dream that involved a certain hacker and lots of snuggling. (I've been having lots of trouble sleeping lately, so in retrospect this is surprising.)

Happy belated birthday, hacker-kun.

Navi should enjoy the cookies. What's on the cover of your cool book? (Or, would that defeat the purpose of owning it, were we to have so little difficulty identifying it?)

~happy hacking.
