Whoa, that is interesting. Kind of makes me wish I'd studied more linguistics... though that's probably doctorate level stuff anyway.

I've heard of this for some time now, actually. From what I've seen, most of my (male) friends (who are geeks) type in a fashion that would be "weak female" - though that might simply be because they tend to type things out, and know how to better express themselves with words.

Apparently I'm "weak female" in formal writing, but "weak male" in informal writing. I gave the thinger a sample of my fan fic. Maybe I broke it? ;)
